This Privacy Policy explains how Dazzle AI, Inc. (“Dazzle AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our services through:

• The Dazzle AI Developer Preview agent

By using Dazzle AI services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide, improve, and support Dazzle AI across our platforms.

Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: Name, email, phone number, and login credentials used across our app and agent.
• Photos and Media: Images you select for uploading and analysis within the app or through agent communication. Dazzle AI only accesses photos after you grant explicit permission. While Dazzle AI analyzes the content of your media to provide insights, we do not use your photos to create biometric identifiers.
• Communications: Any emails, feedback, or customer support messages you send us

Automatically Collected Information

• Device & Browser Information: Type of device, operating system, browser type (for website users), IP address, and version.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app and agent.
• Diagnostic Data: Crash reports, performance data, and logs to maintain reliability across all platforms.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide a seamless, synchronized experience when using our app or agent
• Generate AI-based insights, reminders, and task suggestions
• Improve our app performance and AI accuracy
• Communicate with you about updates, features, or support
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse or fraud
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share limited data with:

• Service Providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate (e.g., frontier models, cloud hosting, etc.).
• Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public
• Business Transfers: If Dazzle AI is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may transfer as part of that process

We do not share or sell personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Sensitive Information: We do not proactively seek “sensitive” personal data (e.g., social security numbers, intimate photos). If we determine sensitive data is contained within media you voluntarily provide, we discard and delete the media from our servers.

5. Your Privacy Rights (U.S. & California Residents)

If you reside in California, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

• Right to Know: Request what data we collect, use, or disclose
• Right to Delete: Request that we delete your personal information (subject to legal exceptions)
• Right to Opt Out: You can opt out of data processing for marketing or analytics (though we do not sell data)
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

6. International Privacy Rights (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

Legal Basis for Processing 

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a Contract: To provide the Dazzle AI services you requested.
• Legitimate Interests: To improve our AI models, ensure security, and prevent fraud, provided these interests do not override your fundamental rights.
• Consent: Where you have given explicit permission (e.g., accessing your photo gallery or receiving marketing communications).

Your Rights 

In addition to the rights mentioned elsewhere in this policy, you have the right to:

• Access and Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Rectification: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• Restriction: Request that we limit the processing of your data under certain circumstances.
• Object to Automated Decision-Making: Request human intervention if an automated AI decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time for future processing.

Data Transfers 

By using Dazzle AI, you acknowledge that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection to that found in the EU/UK.

Complaints 

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to:

• Provide and improve Dazzle AI services
• Comply with legal obligations
• Resolve disputes or enforce agreements

You may delete your account at any time from the app or by contacting us at support@dazzle.ai. Upon account deletion, data is removed from active databases, though it may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period until overwritten.

8. Data Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Secure authentication and access controls
• Regular security testing and monitoring

However, no digital service is 100% secure. You acknowledge that you use the Dazzle AI app and agents at your own risk.

9. Children’s Privacy

Dazzle AI is not intended for users under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.

10. Cookies and Analytics

We may use limited analytics tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics for Firebase) to measure performance and improve the user experience.

These tools may collect aggregated, anonymized data—never personally identifiable information.

Dazzle AI does not use third-party advertising trackers.

11. AI and Data Processing Disclosure

Dazzle AI uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to analyze user-provided content (e.g., photos, messages).  Where Dazzle AI utilizes third-party frontier models (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) to process data, we ensure that our agreements with these providers prohibit them from using your personal data to train their artificial intelligence models. 

All AI processing occurs in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We do not use your private data to train public AI models or share it with other users.

12. Data Transfers

Dazzle AI operates from the United States.

If you access our services from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred and processed here, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or legal requirements.

We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email before they take effect.

The “Last Updated” date at the top will indicate when the changes were made.
